A protocol was signed between Başkent University (Turkey) and our university to establish cooperation in education, research, and social-cultural activities. Within the scope of this protocol, two universities agreed on exchanging students and faculty members and organizing joint conferences and seminars.
To sign the protocol, Rectors from both universities came together in the Senate Hall of Baskent University, during which our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toycan, expressed his wishes that this agreement would benefit both universities. He then continued that “good projects will be put forward.” Emphasizing the importance of exchanging students and doing joint research studies, Prof. Dr. Toycan stated that the protocol “will extremely contribute to the quality of both universities.”
In his speech, Baskent University Acting Rector, Prof. Dr. Haldun Müderrisoğlu drew attention to the importance of the protocol and extended his feelings for signing the protocol with Bahçeşehir Cyprus University, one of the young and dynamic universities of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He continued by expressing his will “to develop concrete joint projects and enhancing joint activities” between the two universities.
The ceremony was finished with the signing of the protocol agreement by the Rectors on behalf of the two universities.
